Confirmed Atletico Madrid football on Thursday sacked coach GregorioManzano for poor results.
He explained that the club is looking for a new coach to replace Manzanoand Argentine Diego Simeone is the leading candidate to take over thistask.
The club, in a statement issued today, "Executive Committee met clubAtletico Madrid on Thursday to discuss the sport and decided unanimouslydismissed Gregorio Manzano's first team coach at the club. Manzano has already told the club's decision to terminate his contract."
